The Big House

This is where the Rangers are based. I think I prefer our wee bothy, which is the old gardener's cottage. My favourite parts of the park are down by the burn and behind the walled garden where there's a peaceful sheltered shrubbery. So peaceful that deer come in to graze on the roses in winter.
Still struggling with urls and blueteeth etc., but part of the reason I started doing this was to learn computerology. I've had heavy clay that was easier to dig. But courage, ma brave, we'll get there.

Dear Isobel, Yes, I should very much like to hear more about this estate, including the gardener's cottage.

I guessed from the architecture of the house that this is most likely Scotland. Which Part? Borders, Lowlands or Highlands?

The interweb is a walk in the park; it's walking in the park without falling over that I struggle with!

How's the ear?

Dear Edith and Idiot, thank you for your interest. Yes, we're in Central Scotland here, and the Big House has some listed features. T,he Rangers' tea room is top left and very elegant. I always feel like the schemie I am in there so I'm much more at home in the gardener's cottage whee we rude mechanicals are based. It's known as the bothy

something strange happened there, please forgive the typos. The ear's fine, thanks, shame about the brain. I think I have a touch of technophobia which makes this so difficult, and a phonemast which has been down since Boxing Day.
